Iraq First has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the Iraq First Convention for the development of Small & Medium Enterprises which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah on the 7th and 8th of June 2007 at Al Hamra Fort, in Ras Al Khaimah United Arab Emirates.

This Convention, which is the first of its kind will deal exclusively with the development of small and medium enterprises in Iraq, with the aim of bringing together potential investors interested in creating tangible and solid working network with influential Iraqi Governors and decision makers from the government and business sector, with the planned signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) scheduled to take place concretizing the commitment by the international community in establishing a long term developmental strategy for SME’s in Iraq.

With over 150 Small and Medium business project proposals submitted by the Iraqi governors to Iraq First clearly indicates that the development and sustaining of Small and Medium Businesses in Iraq is being given much importance by not only the government but also the citizens of Iraq.
“Iraq First” Program will be organizing and implementing follow up conventions annually and biannually to make sure that all enterprises follow the frame work accordingly and develop more for Iraq, Iraqi entrepreneurs and Iraqi citizens.
